A Day to Be Refreshed, Encouraged and Renewed
As a parish, we are blessed by the many people who generously serve in our ministries and communities. Yet amid the busyness of parish life, it can be easy for service to feel like just another task on a long to-do list.
Our upcoming "Volunteer Revive Retreat" is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper purpose of discipleship. Rather than focusing on what we do for God, this day invites us to be renewed by what God is doing in us.
Whether you currently serve in a ministry, are considering getting involved, or simply wish to grow in your faith - this retreat is for you!
Date: Saturday 17 October
Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Hub, lunch provided
We're delighted to have three inspiring keynote speakers:
- Fr Nev
- Debbie Riddell from Divine Renovation speaking on "What is Discipleship?" and
- Vanessa Comninos from Archdiocesan Ministries speaking on "Everyday Saints in Mission and Ministry".
Debbie and Vanessa are much-loved and familiar faces from our own parish leadership journey, and we are thrilled for them to share their wisdom and experiences.
This is not a volunteer training day. It is an invitation to be refreshed, encouraged, and renewed in faith, so that we may continue to serve with joy and purpose.
